We
are sorry to advise The Tin Dog Bed & Breakfast will be closed
from 1 September 2009 for a period of twelve to eighteen months.
The
whole house, however, will be available for holiday rental from mid
December 2009 until mid January 2009 and over Easter 2010.

About
The Tin Dog
The
Tin Dog house is an eclectic marriage of old and new, the original
house was built in 1900 and has been extensively refurbished giving
it a wonderful homely feel. There are large wrap around verandahs
on the original part of the house. Extensive decks off the main sitting
room overlook the pool.
There
are two bedrooms in the original part of the house which both have
French doors leading to verandahs. The other two bedrooms, which are
in pavilion style, are separated from the main house by short wooden
walkway. These rooms are large and spacious, have there own en-suites
with shower and have their own private decks overlooking the gardens.
The
house is beautifully furnished with polished wooden floors, high ceilings,
gorgeous rugs, original art work; quality furnishings give the house
an understated elegance. There is a large living room/dinning room
and a smaller sitting room which has a TV/DVD and extensive book library
There
is a great kitchen which is fully equipped with all that you would
need to make your stay complete.
The
large 12m salt water pool is shaded by palms and has a large deck
looking out to the tropical rainforest. The house is surrounded by
wonderful landscaped gardens and the extensive grounds provide a luxuriously
green outlook with plenty of places for socialising or for solitude.
There
is a garden gazebo across the creek with day bed which is a wonderful
place just to laze and listen to the sound of the birds.
